Let your website be seen
There are billions and billions of sites on-line. It is one thing to have your site designed and hosted and it is another to get your site to be made visible on the world wide web. I remember 10 years ago I became a wholesaler of basic merchandise. All I could do was to wake up in the morning, open up the shop and wait for the customers and that was it. I got some money alright. But I was not getting maximum income. After some time, the shop ceased to function. What went wrong? I did not do ant advertising. I hoped people would somehow find the shop. I wasn't constructively drawing people to the shop!
The same applies to with your website. You need to promote your website. For sometime, we shall spend time giving you tips on how to draw traffic to your site. Freed from Addictions
I know of a man who has suffered from a series of addictions. This man started smoking and drinking at the age of 13, right after his primary education. 5 years later, he started taking marijuana. Because of these and other related habits, this young man resorted to stealing in order to gratify his addictions. He lost his self esteem and was despised by many. Nobody wants a thief. He felt empty and it is this emptiness that led him to seek out for assistance from the Lord Jesus Christ.
You see, from generation to generation word has always moved around that Jesus Christ sets captives free from sin, fear, addictions, homosexuality, sickness, demonic oppression and all forms of bondage. Actually the Bible states it that "you shall know the truth and the truth shall you free (John 8:31 - 32). The Bible goes ahead to say that "I am come that you may have life and have it more abundantly". (John 10:10).
On receiving Jesus Christ, he struggled with his addictions at first. It took him some time to realize that he was a new creation. The old had been taken away and he had a new life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To cut the story short, Jesus freed him from smoking, drinking and other habits. But that was not the end of the story.
With time he forgot about his new nature and got addicted to pornography and horoscopes. When one gets addicted to something, one tends give that thing a high priority in his life. For instance if he doesn't have enough money, chances are that he will spend his limited resources on the thing he is addicted to. Let's say one is addicted to gambling, he would even borrow money to continue gambling even if he is hungry and there is nothing to eat. It looks like for one to get addicted, you just try out something. Normally, the victims don't intend to get addicted. They start by experimenting. I know this because I got addicted to work. I could forego sleep, food, fellowship you name it, for the sake of work!
Back to the young man. He got addicted to pornography. This happened long after he had got the new life - about 13 years into salvation to be precise. By this time he was married. Whenever he got to a computer, the first thing he always sought to access was porn. He could leave his wife and spend time on porn. He could do this for hours daily. Addiction is terrible. He lost 2 jobs, credibility and self esteem as a result of this.
One day, Jesus gave him another chance. He is now totally free from porn and all other vices. He is totally free! You might be out there struggling with some addiction. Perhaps you have paid colossal sums of money to go through some rehabilitation program. Am here to tell you that Jesus is the answer. Receive him in your life and he shall set you free.
